I'm assuming a lot of this can be configured but I'm talking about the default (which I'm also assuming Dries used on his site).

It's configurable by the admin.
If you want to change the default, please propose text.
Robert - I really value your feedback on improving the UI of this module, but please install it and use it before posting more.

I'd like to re-open this for the D7 branch as I think probably most users would benefit from revising the default text.

Here's what I think would be a useful default text. Uses comment title and body for both node and comment notification e-mails. Also uses a very similar signature to the user account e-mails in user.module.
