The private message icon/link is not appearing on any of the comments/topics in the forum or on other nodes (have the forum control all comment styles). The online icon appears tho. It was appearing on the Alpha 10 version, but when I upgraded it never showed up.

Permissions have been set to send messages for certain roles, so I know that is not the problem.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem and is there something I am forgetting to set up in any of the files?

which version of privatemsg do you have? suggest you to update to the latest, I guess the problem will dissapear.

I have the latest version of private message (pm 5x-3.0). I have thought about uninstalling and then re-installing private message. Would this have an effect and be worth the effort?

Its working now after making that slight change. Saved a lot of hassle.
