hello,

i am working on a project where i need arround 300 CCK fields for 1 contenttype. it stops adding after 118 fields(no warnings). when i delete and add again a field everything works fine. other contenttypes can still be expanded. i searched for any limits in the code but can't find anything about it.

You'll need to be more specific about how exactly it "doesn't work" : error message ? silently fails ?

Also, I'd say that a content type that needs that many fields very likely indicate a design flaw... Usability tends to decrease rapidly after a few tens of fields...

it's not a designflaw, I need the fields for a comparison between insurance conditions .

when you fill in the fields, select a widget, hit the save button on page admin/content/node-type/card/fields, it returns without a message to the same page (admin/content/node-type/card/fields)

ps: downgraded to rc7, everything works fine
