TinyMCE plugin problem for 'insert/edit image' and 'edit html source'

I'm using TinyMCE 6.x-1.1 dev with the Tinymce 3.05 engine (Drupal 6.5). The problem I'm having is with the plugin for 'insert/edit image' and the 'edit html source' plugin. When I try to align text with an inserted image, it displays properly in 'edit' mode, but when I preview or save the page the alignment disappears. It doesn't seem to insert the html into the 'edit html source' plugin at all.

If I input the html manually using the 'edit html source' plugin it displays properly when I preview it, but if I change the html then preview it again it retains the original html. Also, I'm not able to delete any html that I input manually. As soon as I preview or save the page it goes right back to the original html that I manually input. I have to actually delete the page and start all over again if I need to make a change.
