Hi. I have my FAQ set up and I really like it. But I am wondering whether, rather than opening the answer in the same window, can I open it is in a new window (configured like a small popup)?

No, not at present, but you should be able to do it in the theme layer.

Check out the lightbox2, thickbox, shadowbox and popup modules.
