Anonymous users generating points

First, let me praise this module: when it comes to community building, this is one of the most important modules, just after the ability to make comments on nodes. It gives new users benchmarks to aspire to, and it gives veteran users something to be proud of.

The bug I found:

When an anonymous users posts a comment, a non-existent user is credited for the points. Looking at the full roster of users with points on my site, I see a point score next to a blank user name. Every time a user submits a comment, the blank user is incremented.

The ideal behavior: anonymous users should not generate points when submitting a comment.
