I'm trying to create a list of nodes purchased through ubercart. Once someone buys access to a node then I'd like workflow to send an email with a link to that node and also add that node to an active list in the users account (similar to file downloads) so the user can easily reference the nodes he has purchased.

You can make a view of purchased nodes with an argument for the user. Separately, you can make a rule that sends an email when the node is purchased.
