Would a port to 5.x be consistent? Helpful for TAC_Lite + Workflow access?

Description

Merlin, is there still consistency to port your module to a drupal 5.x version?

If yes, as you don't maintain this module anymore, has someone else here ported this module to a drupal 5.x compatibility?

Indeed, we thought we could use it to have the TAC_Lite module working along with the Workflow access module (we'd still have to convert TAC_Lite to NA_arbitrator though).

The purpose of this is having TAC_Lite refining access once the workflow_access has been respected (#323360: How to arbitrate priorities between TAC_Lite and Workflow_Access grants?).

Best regards
(and Congrats for Views 2's release!!)

Please consider Dave's suggestion for backporting code from a more recent development, as it would probably better fufill code sustainability concerns...

The bulk of this module already exists in 5.x core, so a forward port is unnecessary.
