Since it currently takes 21.08 minutes to run tests from start to finish, we have begun tuning.

First off, chx installed xcache:
before: 21.08
after: 17.75
difference: 3.33
percent decrease: 16%

FYI: my.cnf is practically empty so whatever CentOS people compiled it with , we do not override anything.

After running first 10 test cases I get about 52% of the time spent installing Drupal. (54 seconds of 103 total) (From #323477: Increase simpletest speed by running on a simplified profile)

With the mysql ramdisk optimization performed by davidstrauss we got it down to 15.15.
