Issue Summary
What is the most simple way to hide selected mappings and prevent them from showing on the content nodes? Selecing "no mapping" does not hide elements.
For instance, one does not want the "description" element to be shown on the node. How do you go about doing that?
Maybe there should be an additional option to "Hide mapping"?

while that option does not exist, check out yahoo pipes.
It allows you to do pretty much anything to your feed prior to sucking it in with Drupal. You could use it to strip anything from your "description element.
