I've got it installed properly and seems to be working almost perfectly.

I'd like to set permissions so that:

1) Guest users don't see FCKeditor
2) Registered users see standard FCKEditor
3) Admins have full access

When I log into as administrator, I only see the regular toolbars. And when I try to change the FCKEditor profile at admin/settings/fckeditor/edit/Advanced it keeps saying "Roles allowed to use this profile field is required." but there is no option to select administrators. Do I have to actually create an Administrator role?

I'm sorry that this issue has not been responded to. I guess you have already found a way to solve your problem.

I was having this problem also and this was the only google result.

The solution is:

Under admin/settings/fckeditor/edit/[profile]
Under "Basic Setup"->"Roles allowed to use this profile" select the roles that you want. The default admin role is already there.
