My issue has to do with the presentation at the Mollom web site, not with the Drupal Mollom module. Dries suggested I bring up the issue here in order to generate some discussion.
My issue comes from having struggled to figure out how to add a second web site to my Mollom account. Now that I had the "ahah" moment of realizing you need a new subscription for each web site, it's very easy. But the ease of use after the "ahah" shouldn't let folks at Mollom forget that it is not intuitive, in my opinion, before you figure that out.
Some recommendations on how to make it easier to figure out Mollom's subscription paradigm:
- Add a well-placed link, maybe a block in the right side bar on the home page that simply says, "Add another web site." That would take you to: http://mollom.com/site-manager/add. Block visibility should be set to: is logged in AND has a minimum of 1 Mollom subscription already. This way the "add a web site" language wouldn't be confusing to folks who had not yet subscribed the first time.
- At http://mollom.com/site-manager/add add some explanation text at the top that says, "A separate Mollum subscription is required for each web site. Multiple subscriptions can exist under the same Mollum.com user account."
- Change the value for the submit buttons on http://mollom.com/site-manager/add to "Mollom Free for 1 Web Site" and "Buy Mollom Plus for 1 Web Site."
- At http://mollom.com/site-manager add the help text, "A separate Mollum subscription is required for each web site."
What do others think? Did any of you have the same problem?
[p.s. It's probably a philosophical discussion whether to call this a "bug report" or a "feature request." I guess by classifying it as a "bug report" I'm saying that I think it is an important usability issue.]

dave reidYes, thanks very much for your review and suggestions on how we could improve the website! I cross-posted this at http://mollom.zendesk.com/tickets/152 for you so I can clean up the module's issue queue and this isn't related to the module. I created an account for you on the site so you should be able to follow-up there as well.
