I'm mostly just curious.
As of October 2008 how are people generally handling event sign-up in D6.
I see three options
1.) Calendar/Date + shopping cart (Ubercart is in dev for D6 & E-commerce has no D6 version from what I can tell)
2.) CiviCRM (Ready for D6, and recently added views integration)
3.) Event Module (though RSVP & sign-up are not moving to D6 as of yet)
I'm prone to 1 because it leaves the best Drupal integration but I have to admit I'm considering installing the beast that is CiviCRM just so I can get this functionality (no disrespect meant I support several CiviCRM installs & love the database for a complete package but hate installing it to use only one piece). To it's credit CiviCRM has recently added Views support and OG/Groups Integration.
Thoughts?
