How do I create the profile and use the functions in profile api?

Hi Jim -- generally, you can start with copying the default.profile that ships with Drupal, and then use the functions in install profile (by including it). See https://svn.bryght.com/dev/browser/bryghtbase/DRUPAL-6/trunk/profiles/ba... for an example profile.
