On each of the stories on the from page it shows who submitted the story and when. It also shows status of "sticky" next to the items that you want to stick on the top of the page. This is annoying and unprofessional looking. How do you remove it. It also has the drupal character on the menu and on the url address section. How do I remove these. I'm using the Giordani theme.
Thank you.

mnofsteel commentedOne other comment that I noticed. The weight 10 through -10 doesn't affect placement of the stories. The way it should work is the lighter weight should determine the placement, but this isn't working either.
Please help.

joachim commentedIt sounds like this is down to the particular theme you are using -- certainly the text 'sticky' doesn't appear on stickied posts in Garland, the default Drupal theme -- reassigning to Marinelli, its parent theme, though it sounds like it may be a design choice for that theme.
Weight affects placement in the menu, not in the list of nodes on the front page.

joachim commentedBug in the drupal update -- I can't reassign.
joachim commentedReassigning to Marinelli as the poster's problems appear to be down to the Giordani theme. Unsure about exact version.
