So, this is less a Drupal question really, but as Drupal is the core of the project, I thought I'd see if folks had recommendations or could point me in the right direction. Short of my issue is that the project I'm working will deploy a content system to thousands of kiosks in developing areas of the world. These will not be 'networked' to the web in any meaningful way. So, while the desire is to deploy in Drupal, clearly it will be running as a local server. What I need, therefore, is a relatively fool proof and virtual no configuration installation. I think I can do this for Drupal for an installation profile, as well as MySQL and PHP. What I have not figured out, however is the actual web server. Deploying this with Apache is a non-starter given the configuration required on Windows machines. Non-techs. will be doing the install. Does anyone have any recommendation or have experience installing Drupal on a Windows box for kiosk like applications? Any and all advice much appreciated. Thanks!
