Fatal error I have to disable addresses cck to get the site to run again.

Same here. Happened immediately after upgrading to alpha 3.

The dpm() function is defined in the devel module. It is probably there for debugging and could be safely removed from that file. Or install the devel module to avoid the error.

it IS fixed on CVS. there is no release with it, yet. soon i will make it available, with other fixes.

Until the next release, will the previous version (alpha2) work as normal?
I also noticed that this version (alpha3) requires the Token module, but that wasn't the case with previous versions, right?

yep. Token module is now required. Its the way i did find to "theme" addresses.
