firefox 3 spacing issue with objects and tables

Description
I've been working for a good part of the afternoon to try to figure out why Firefox 3 displays a white border down the middle of my header. I've made a custom page-front.tpl.php based on itheme.
www.bpmtv.com is the site. You'll see that the top element in the flash header has the bpm:tv Dance with Attitude logo in it. Below is the other part of the image as a background gif. Both elements are a part of a table.
I'm trying to get rid of the white line between the two elements.
This only happens in Firefox 3.0.3.
I'd like to solve it.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
