Drupal Noob -What modules would you recommend...

Hi,

I'm looking to put together a site powered by Drupal for a group of DJs. We want the following site funcitonality/site map, and would like to know what modules we should install...

Homepage
Latest News from each DJ
Next Event(s)
Photo Gallery/Photo
Latest n reviews
Latest n Mixes/Tracks

About Group
DJ 1
About - incl photos etc
Next Gig displayed onscreen
Some photos
DJ/Artist News
Photo Galleries -> link to specific or auto specifc (by saying who is in each picture) photo galleries
DJ 2

Events List
This should list all ordered by Date and hopefully remove expired Events - Events be clickable to find out more about them

Photo Gallery
Gallery 1
Gallery 2
...

Media
DJ Mixes
Tunes

These could link to mp3s or have Soundclound code embedded

News
Group News - Site Blog

Reviews
Hardware
Software
Events
etc

Some advice would be greatly appreciated.. I'm new to drupal, and don't know how much I am going to have to code myself etc!
