okay, i have found at least 3 dozen discussions with people discussion endless hacks to node templates, content templates, local css and base theme css and css injector and so on and so on - and ALL are about handling inline placement and padding type issues for imagefields inserted via imagecache

i'm not sure if this is really an imagefield issue or an imagecache issue, so i'm going to post there as well - but i feel that since imagecache is doing the processing, it is intuitively more well suited to present basic options for imagecache presets like

what's there already (pixels) and then:
(optional)
float left
float right
padding
(H and W padding/margins)

anybody else feel this way? could this be handled by imagecache? i'm thoroughly confused..wysiwig editors support this already, but they're clunky...
