I looked here http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/search but
apparently I am missing something. Every time I enter a word containing Unicode characters I get the error message "You must include at least one positive keyword with 3 characters or more."
and the result shows "Your search yielded no results"

There has been forum topics like "search do not search unicode content in Drupal" - http://drupal.org/node/178840 and issue http://drupal.org/node/160794 but no solution.

Does any one know of any installation profiles or Acquia version to be working ok ?

Hi thanks a lot. Can you kindly point me to any thread providing such solution or provide any workaround you follow to avoid such problem?

Database is saving unicode characters fine as well as there is no problem in web display. Only search is not indexing and not finding - please note this is related to Indic unicode languages, see http://drupal.org/node/178840#comment-786748

If you have a working site or sites in similar unicode Indic or Asian languages can you please provide the web link so that I can just see how this is working. Thanks and regards

Hi minesota,

See these links

http://www.kathakali.info

http://www.chintha.com

Both are Indic (Malayalam) sites.

Chintha.com has no search box and kathakali.info is apparently using Google search.

I am looking for indic unicode search to work in search module in Drupal 5x.

In http://www.kathakali.info search box is available in the left side bar, but it is Drupal 6.6.

That is not working. Did you try it ?
I copy pasted a random word, for example വിനീതമായ from the front page article in the search box but the search could not find it, instead it gives the error message
"You must include at least one positive keyword with 3 characters or more."

This is the same error message I reported. Hoping to get your reply.

That is not working for me too, when i try to search with Khmer Unicode it always return no results (0 result)
and the message appeared: "You must include at least one positive keyword with 3 characters or more."

Do you have any idea?
Please kindly help me.
