just as the title says, i go in as admin, disable comments for content profile (content type) and then log in as a test user and as a regular user, i still see the comment box when viewing the full node!

any idea why this is happening? am i missing something obvious?

Has the node already been created *before* you changed the admin settings?

If so, the new settings will not be applied retractively. Existing nodes will need to be re-edited. This is standard drupal behavior, and not related to content_profile

aha! thanks. it was just two existing profiles (myself as admin and 1 test user)
