Hi guys,
I'm at the final stages of a new mCommerce gateway module for Drupal ecommerce for a client that okayed the release of it on Drupal.org.
...in brief, what the module does is allow you to use mobile phones as a method of payment on a Drupal ecommerce site. i.e. instead of using paypal, credit cards, debit cards, google checkout etc. you can now offer an mCommerce option where the customer pays via their mobile phone (reverse SMS txt billing message).
In anticipation of the module release (It's for version Drupal eCommerce 5.x-3.5 and will be updated to Drupal eCommerce version 4 soon) I've setup a demo site, which is a very simple Drupal music downloads shop, to illustrate how it works.
Working demo: Mobillcash Demo Music Shop.
Click ">here for more details about the mCommerce payment provider, mobillcash (part of Vidicom) or to setup a free merchant account.
The mobillcash.module will be available over the next few days from drupal.org - If you want a copy of the module for testing or to try out, please drop me an email and I'll email you a copy.
cheers

great work
Hi Dub,
Great work. I've emailed you with a request for the mobillcash.module. A few questions:
I love the layout of the music download shop - Can I buy or will you be sharing the ecommerce theme for the shop demo?
How did you get file subproducts working?
I notice that you have omitted the quantity on downloads when viewing the cart and in the checkout, which is something I couldn't work out. how did you do that?
Kevin
thanks
hi Kevin,
thanks for the compliments.
Most of the theming was done using CSS. I am overriding the block cart and the cart view, so the product images are showing and in both I was able to omit the column for quantity in the cart table. You're more than welcome to a copy of the page-cart.tpl.php and template.php snippets - just drop me an email and I'll bounce them back.
Using a patch that you can find here: http://drupal.org/node/195869
I'll be updating the mCommerce gateway module for eC version 4.x and adding in some more detailed documentation after that version is out. The module as it is was created for ec version 5.x-3.5.
