I wonder if there is a change to add the abbility in this module, to notify both the Node Author and the Admin (user 1) when a new comment arrives. This would help administrators with low traffic sites to be notified, because some times admin is the right person to reply in a comment.

I would like to see your opinions about this feature,

Thanks

Title: Notification for Node Author and Admin » Notification for Admin

There is already the ability for node authors (I guess you've seen that). I don't think it makes sense to send a notification to the site admin. There are other modules (actions + trigger in core of Drupal6) which can handle that.

This module is ultimately a lightweight subscription tool. It isn't meant to handle everything.

Actions and Trigger modules have been removed from Drupal core, so it would be awesome with a recommendation for admin notification, when a new comment is made.

It could be added on the project page (my suggestion in bold):

Note: Since it only notifies you about published comments, this is not a solution to notify admins when they need to moderate comments on their site. Use contrib module xyz to notify admins of new comments.
