It is possible to intergrate analytics with any search tool, which will give us a lot of valuable feedback on what people are searching upon and how. Though it requires a bit of intergration or configuration in order to function.
Could anyone work on this?

I believe that the Google Analytics module that currently exists for Drupal 5 and 6 integrates with Drupal's internal search and I suppose that this is good enough in most of the cases. Things would differentiate if you have a different internal search provider but frankly, I don't know of any other internal search tools.
Still, most of the configuration takes part in google analytics configuration page and yet this can be configured on a per case scenario (I suppose).

avpadernoActually, Drupal.org uses ApacheSolr. I am not sure the module Google Analytics integrates with it.
