I was wondering why I would have a series of numbered arrays in my node object and CCK field_ property containing arrays only of asin values. Then I noticed that asin_field was returning $items when $items had been passed by reference... so here's a patch.

And there's no version for DRUPAL-6--1, so I'm attaching it to the beta3 version.
