create teasers in blog block?? drupal 6.6 with title linking to read more not externaml site link for the love of god please!!!

could you explain this again please, what exactly are you trying to do? something like this: http://drupal.org/project/blog_addons ? a custom views thing for the node type blog?

I am having a hard time accomplishing this same concept. I admit that I am a newbie to Drupal, but a teaser box with a link would be a great module. I've looked at the module suggested above and it doesn't quite get there because it assumes one format. I like the way certain sites have their blog roles, i.e. politico dot com and huffington post do a nice job with this. Please let me know if you've solved this.

There isn't a lot of information to go on, but it sounds like you want to use Views to create a custom block with teasers going to your most recent(?) blog posts. In Views, you can set the title of the teaser to be a link to your node. Is that what you are looking for?
