Hi, for the last few months I have been looking for a CMS for a new website I want to make, its for a flower export company.
Now I have installed and tried about 7 differant ones so far but running into Drupal seems I have found what I need :)
Let me explain what I need this website to do for me, it has to be pretty simple, but needs away to let customers place there order for flowers online, they get invoiced so no need for a payment thingy.
Anyway the Ecommerce module seems just what I need, my only trouble atm is to be able to make it like they have done on this website: http://originaltilly.com/
Could someone tell me what Modules I need to list products on different pages and make the menu like they have, all it seems i can do, or work out how to do is list the products on the product page or make a new page with only one product on it, I need to be able to list different categories on other pages.
I know its something to do with taxonomy, but its just hard to get my head around it atm.
Thanks for any help.

I would go for a ecommerce
I would go for a ecommerce package instead of a CMS, like osCommerce or zenCart, a lot easier that way.
Taxonomy and Taxonomy Menu
Hopefully a more knowledgable person will follow me with better specifics.
It seems that you want to define a Taxonomy vocabulary using the core (built in) Taxonomy module to define the groups. Then you will want to use the Taxonomy Menu module to make the menu. To duplicate the look of the other site, you can turn off the other sidebar blocks for unauthenticated users.
When you add items via Ecommerce module, you should be able to choose the Taxonomy term to associate them to, and the menu module should filter them nicely.
Again, I am also new and have not played with either Ecommerce or Taxonomy Module, yet. Check this article in the Handbook for a good explanation about Taxonomy.
I know I didn't answer your question, but hopefully it will give you something to read until someone that knows what he's talking about corrects me :)

There are not a lot of
There are not a lot of people using the ecommerce module so that leads to the smaller knowledge base. I need to install and test it myself, just haven't had time.

Thanks alot, have worked
Thanks alot, have worked that out now.
Now I just need to know how they have added the lines on the product itself. EG: "Previous | Next | Add to Kart" and not "Posted in XXXX | Add to Kart"
Edit: you can see my progress here on my test server http://www.thenerds.nl/
Looks sharp
Sorry, but I don't have any idea how to add those links. Checked the site. It looks sharp and clean. Nicely done.
