Diaporama problem and Image_gallery

Hi, using this excellent module and love the results. I've sent the development link for my new website to a number of friends for comments and one them was unable to view the images, being presented only with a red cross in the corner of the first image. Despite using IE6 I imagine this user has no flash enabled. That being the case, I know I can't use Diaporama so I have a basic image_gallery set up as an alternative. But this has no navigation between images - ie you have to go to the thumbnail first page to select any images. Is there an easy way I can improve this please ??
