I cannot recreate the problem
Hi, I'm posting this at drupal.org in Google Chrome 0.2.149.30 on Vista Business SP1. I do not have a problem with drupal.org. Do you?
If so, can you give us some more specific information, like OS, Version of Chrome.
If not, what's your version of Drupal, what's the server environment like, what modules? I'm testing some v6 installations next weekend.
I'm afraid Google Chrome may become a factor. I consider myself a median computer literate and although Chrome is supposed to be a suggestion to mozilla, ie and others on making browsers, as an end user i'm really getting used to it (even without professional bookmarks and jumping the history). So I guess others are doing so as well.
Cheers, Willem
Chrome v Drupal
Hi Willem,
I am using Chrome 0.2.149.30 with Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2. However, I do not have problems with drupal.org. I seem to have problems with my new site on Drupal 6.6. I do not have any problems viewing it with IE or FireFox. My frustration is caused that I have very little idea where to look. I have difficulties logging in (get "This webpage is not available. The webpage at www . mysite/node?destination=node might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address." When I work with the same site offline I do not have problems with logging in, but some images do not appear for some reason. I would be grateful for any hints or ideas.
Chrome and Opera issues
Hi,
I am also having problem with the Drupal.org site: Chrome 0.3.154.9 and Opera 9.61 both render the site useless. IE6, Mozilla 3.03 and Safari 3.1.2 work fine.
Platform: WinXP SP3.
Cheers,
Zoltan
Same problem...
When visiting pages of my live Drupal 6 site in Chrome 4.0.211.2 on OS X Leopard, I also get the message:
*****
This webpage is not available.
Below is the original error message
Error 2 (net::ERR_FAILED): Unknown error.
*****
When I hit refresh, the page loads properly though. I wonder if Chrome is trying to run so fast that it doesn't wait long enough for a server response... bizarre.
