I am running D6.6 on IE6. I installed all the jQ modules requested by this module. When I activate the module, I get an error on the page (image attached). I deactivate it and the error goes away.
I uploaded some images and I tried to see what it would do by putting the slideshowcs block into content and nothing happened - even with the error. Either I did something wrong or there is a bug.
I went to the demo site and there is a big hole where I believe the slideshow is supposed to be working.

davebv commentedI do not really know what that error means. Can you try to access your site with firefox and see if the error still happen?
idcm commentedI did some testing and learned the following.
- the module does not work correctly in IE6 (see attached image of your site in my IE6)
- the module does not work totally correct in IE7 (see attached image of your site in IE7). Please note that is starts to load but you can see the loading icon in the middle. I am not sure it ever really loaded as the shot is not from my computer but someone helping me out.
- the slide block does load in FF3 (see your site image attached)
Also, simply enabling the module creates the error I sent earlier. I don't have to make the block active to get the error on the screen.

davebv commentedI have to say that the front module of davebv.es is not the slideshowcs module. Right now I have not the module active in my web, but the problem would come up because of the jQuery version and my js file, which is not the same as the slideshowcs. May you try what happen with your slideshow module? (not with my site)

davebv commentedPlease, reopen if the problem persist.
idcm commentedI have provided all the information I can. I still have the problem originally presented in all the screen captures I attached.
davebv commentedI think the problem came because of the implementation IE has of js. Currently I do not support IE as I do not have time to do the tests. I experience the problem in the other module as well, just in IE.
Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Konqueror and Opera render the page as it should be.
I do not have the knowloedge of why the problem is happening. I will try to do a research but cannot guarantee when I will fix it.
Meanwhile, I suggest you to use Firefox or any other browser which supports standards.
If anybody knows how to solve it, do not hesitate in submit patches.
Thanks
