chris_car commentedYes, as soon as http://drupal.org/project/amfphp is available for Drupal 6.
Bensbury commentedHi,
amfphp is working with Drupal 6 although unofficially.
http://drupal.org/node/219365
I'm interested in your project for Drupal 6 and wouldn't mind helping out where I can.
However I'm pretty new to Drupal, although have reasonable Flash AS programming and PHP hacking skills.
My company is involved in a Flash/PHP-CMS/FMS project.
I'd like to experiment with a Flash/Drupal/Red 5 a heck of a lot cheaper version.
I've messed with Red 5 before and now it seems there is almost a stable release client.
However the new stuff doesn't like installing on my test server.
When I get Red 5 working again I'll be up for helping out.

chris_car commentedHi egeos, thanks for the link! So a D6 version of the module should be possible now. I will have a look at it.
Would be great if you get the chance to help me to push the drupal - red5 stuff as far as possible.
Chris

chris_car commentedHi Ben!
Thanks for your commitment! I keep you updated; I will publish the videonoderecorder for D6 soon. That's a basis where we can start from.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedHow's that Red5 version for D6 going? I'm new to drupal, and I'm trying an integration with Flash through the unoficial amfphp to D6 module. I'm interested, however I think I do not have the skills to help, or else, I would give it a shoot.
Bensbury commentedHi,
I was wondering how that was going too.
amfPHP / Services is all working officially for D6 now, so will that give us any news on the D6 version of this module.
Looking forward to it.

pletcher commentedHi,
I started on a D6 patch, and got some of the way into it when we realized we actually needed something else. I don't think this is complete (I never got red5 set up completely), however it could at least serve as a starting point for someone else to finish it off.
Most of the work was done by deadwood/coder module, with some changes to the swf() function (this explains the large comments)
Sorry I can't be of more help, I just figured it would be better to post what I had as opposed to letting it languish unused on my hard drive.
Good luck,
jrp

dirksonii commentedSerious bump, and subscribe. amfphp is available for V6, and I'm desperate for this module to be updated too.

Delta Bridges commentedI have just sent an email to the maintainer (chris-car) to ask him if he intends to port this to D6 or not. It would be great if he did :)
chris_car commentedHi... yeah, I will release it, but please give me some more time. The code is ready, it just needs some more testing.
Btw, if someone needs help on a _paid_ project integrating red5, I would be available for freelance work.
Thanks,
Chris
