secondary menu highlight when viewing node?

Description

I have a vocab called: 'News Section'
containing the following terms: 'event', 'announcement' and 'bulletin'

I have a primary menu item: 'News' linking to /news (which is a Views list of the 'News Section' vocabulary).
I have its child items appearing in the secondary menu: 'events', 'announcements' and 'bulletins'.
These children link to the taxonomy list page for each term.

As you know, the default D6 behaviour is that when looking at a node, the primary menu de-highlights and the secondary menu closes.

I can get MenuTrials to improve this: when looking at a node, the primary item stays highlighted, and the secondary menu stays open. But the secondary item de-highlights.

What I'm really looking for is for the primary *and* secondary item to stay highlighted when viewing, creating or editing a node. Can MenuTrails do this?

Thanks.
