I try to upload an image and i get this wierd message :
The selected file we-ve-got-a-feeling.jpg cannot not be uploaded. Only files with the following extensions are allowed: gif, jpg, jpeg, png.

i upgraded the module but the image ipluad still don't work :-/

any clue ?

if i use the unstable-1 version the image upload works

it's actually a bug with the filefield module's javascript. i've committed a fix to the that's now in the latest filefield -dev release.

actually I've gone ahead and committed the attached to try to work around filefield since it's kind of rude.
