all tabs loaded at the same time, is it possible to make it load dynamically?

Yes, this feature is in development (the original request was for 5.x - see http://drupal.org/node/248790#comment-1080485 - but I'm working on it in 6.x).

OK, I've created a new branch of Quick Tabs which allows you to create ajax-based blocks (dev snapshot will be up within the next 12 hours). There's a totally separate form for creating this type of QT block - you'll see a new local menu tab when you go to admin/build/quicktabs: New QT AJAX block. The UI is almost exactly the same except that for each tab you now choose either a node or a view as content. There are probably plenty of bugs because it's a major new feature and I haven't had time to do a lot of testing so I'm hoping people will help in that regard and give me feedback so that I can iron out the bugs ;-)
