I have the same problem.
I have drupal 6.6 and didn't find so intuitive the use of it.
It would be helpfull a short guide with the necessary step to configure bornfree and how create galleries.

Actualy I configured "BornFree" block to display it on my site.
I see the the block without any images.
I have an image gallery with just two images and i see them but nothing is shown in BornFree block.

Thank you.

After installation, there will be a configuration link under Admin, then there are two blocks under Block. Then you can put the two blocks wherever you want (The demo used panels to do the layout).

Turn the "post to front page" on for the node. Then the image will show.

1-if I have to do that for each iamge I have in the gallery, I will lose my lever
2-I tried to "post to the front page" two photos of my gallery. On the bornfree block appear two empty square instead of the thumbnail and the images are show in the front page as common node...and I do not wish that offc course. (See the attached image).

Am I missundertanding something?

Thank you.

This version is supposed to be very simple, which means only display a full node. The next version will work with Views, so can customize your fields, etc.

I can't get this working either. Just the black boxes like the other poster. Tried posting directly to front page and in a block. D6.6

I'd use it if it was just documented. It looks nice but I'm unsure about its exact functionality and I don't know how to use it in the first place.
- where is it expecting images from? A gallery? And where is it expecting the rest of the node text from? A node? How are these connected? Is it making a gallery out of nodes?

It's getting images from Image Module. You have to set the node "make it front", Also "Sticky" also matters.

Also, I am lazy; I don't have documentation ready yet :)

If you publish to front, won't that make the content appear twice (once using the typical drupal / theme behavior to content area, and repeated again for bornfree). Also, the concept of two blocks (image and text) makes it difficult to display correctly without using panels.

When is the views based version expected? As it is, not very useful. Thanks
