The site serves two main functions, 1)Users create a "list" which has all their records they want and/or have. 2) a database collecting pressing information about records. For those not familiar with the record collecting community having a "trade list" is a common thing for people to look through and see if they want to trade or buy some of your records. In addition to that keeping track of what pressing, what color and how many were made is "big thing".

There is also a market place (think classfied ads) that pulls records from peoples lists to have a central place to show what people want and are selling. It is also possible to leave trader feedback based on any transactions done with people on the site(via user points). We also use userpoints to have "contributor" points that are awarded by adding to the pressing database or posting on the forum.

The site makes heavy use of CCK and views. There are a lot of layers and little things, if you have any questions about please post I'd love to respond and be able to give ideas back.
