I'm working on a site that uses a few different types of searches and I'm really having a hard time figuring out how to implement them. I have one search form that is the basic keyword search box, another that is a form that allows you to enter a keyword and specify a taxonomy term to further limit the results. The third is an advanced search form that more or less does what the default advanced search form does. So how do I use create and use these 3 different search forms? Do I have to create modules and alter the default search form? Can I build completely custom forms and submit them to the default search module?

Please help. I am really confused about how to do this. I can't even get started.

Thanks!

I'm also looking for a way to implement multiple search boxes on the same page. But this time each search box would be searching from different content types.

Hi

I done a tutorial on multiple search box's with taxonomy & views which makes the search's 'blocks'.

Just put the blocks where you want or you could use panels.....
