I just installed boost and receive this error when logged out:

warning: symlink() [function.symlink]: File exists in /home/user/public_html/mysite/sites/all/modules/boost/boost.module on line 675.

I tried both versions of the .htaccess but receive the same error.

My FTP shows that directories are being created in the /cache/www.mysite.com, but when I click on any of them to see what file is inside, an error occurs:

550 Can't open the-file-name.html: No such file or directory
Error:	Critical error
