I would like to drupalize a phpbb site (http://jepermaculture.forumactif.com/). I cannot access the database for that site, but we can read the content and produce a csv.
Would Node import be usefull for importing forum nodes?
Should some code be written for that?

There is a new script for converting Joomla Simple Board to Drupal Forums. There are also others to import from some different forums at Migrating to Drupal.

Perhaps they can give ideas for Node Import to support Drupal's core forum. Naturally, using CSV or similar files from any forum -not only those mentioned- in the case of Node Import.
