Grid module - How do I use it?

Hi!
I have been playing around with Drupal for a while and have been hooked, so to say. I'm not skilled enough to play around with the code so I sometimes have problems with figuring things out when module contributor's not giving newbies, like my self, a chance in hell to use the wonderful things they've created. All because of lack in information on how to use the modules.

Right now I'm struggling with the Grid module. From what I can read about this, module, this would really suit my needs. If I only knew how to use it! With the module comes an example - 'grid.example.php', but because of my lack of skills in this area I'm stuck.

Can someone tell me how to configure this module, please?
