No way to create relationships when creating new nodes

Description
I installed the module and set up a relationship between two nodes of type Story. However, when creating or editing a node, I see no way to create a relationship between nodes. This is using Drupal 6.6 and a bunch of other modules.

You need to create the node first, then mark it as a target for a relationship before you can finally select the other end of the relationship in node edit mode.
