Update Status Module hangs admin functions in 5:10 and 5:12

Upgraded to 510 system seems normal until I tried to access the admin menu. I never got to the admin menu or, I got the MySQL when away message. Running 132 megs of memory on PHP.

Not sure how to troubleshoot this. From here, and the help will be greatly appreciated. Best regards.
