Loading menu block into image map

I'm trying to setup an image map with 4 pictures that when someone puts their cursor over them (or clicks?) will load a menu. Right now I'm using the nice menus module for my primary links and I was intending to use the module again for the image map.

I've got the basic setup done, is there a way to "call" the block when one of the image map area is highlighted?
