I have just installed your module in my D6.6 and enabled the email.module but I can not see any setting and ways to add a email field to registration form. Is there any documentation on what this module suppose to do?

I downloaded the module and it's in my modules folder together with CCK.
But it doesn't seem to work.

Without using it myself (but perhaps in the future because it looks useful) but have you checked(=enabled) it? Also have you checked if there are any dependencies?
If so go and create a new content type with cck. When adding fields you should have the option to make the new field an emailfield.
Well this is the way it works with other modules providing new fields for cck.
Cannot imagine that this would work differently....

It works for me as any other module. You put it in your /sites/all/modules, then enable it from administer -> modules and after that when you use cck to create new content types you can put a field named i.e. email and being of type Email

Did you try this course of actions? seems ok to me!

ahhh :) So it does not add a filed auto to your registration, you have to create a profile filed named E-mail. I though since there is already an email filed on the registration this one will create an extra filed so you can compare the inputs.

Now it is clear.
