And for the other: I do not see anything new in the project you propose. It feels very much to be like this project http://drupal.org/project/openidurl ? What really would be a good thing to do: provide a real OpenID service for Drupal-based sites so that your users can use your domain name as OpenID on other sites. This is supposed to be in the OpenID module but the server component never really made it into Drupal 6.x yet, as far as I know...

Apologies for being delinquent on this. The code has been available on cvs since this issue was opened, but I did not link it up to each other.

I am trying to get this module within services module, http://drupal.org/node/482276, when that is done, I will shut down this project, in the meantime, will allow the code to be downloaded from here.

This is neither like http://drupal.org/project/openidurl module nor http://drupal.org/project/openid_provider which provides the openid server component that you are looking for.
