I am using the module Advanced Frontpage, and that page is essentially a splash page with a Flash movie and some links. You can reach this by just going to the domain. But once inside the site, I want all of the home links (logo/menu/breadcrumbs) to all point to the page at www.domain.com/welcome

How can this be done?

Visit Administer › Site configuration > Site information, look down for "Default front page:", replace the current value with 'welcome' (without the quotes)

Unfortunately, for the Advanced Frontpage module to work, you have to put a specific value in that field. I guess that's my problem. The site's default "home" is being pointed to the AFP module's page. I resorted to using that because the site owner wanted a splash page that's 100% different from the rest of the site. I'm looking for a way to keep that intact so when you go to the domain you still get the splash page, but home links lead to /welcome. Can I edit a function in a template or settings PHP file?

sorry but I'm a little confused

does the page you mention have a URL?

http://www.mywebsite/myflashypage

if so, just follow above instructions and put fashypage in the box --- no leading /

Here is my situation:

We have a flash page that shows up whenever someone goes to our website http://anybodycan.org/ how we accomplished this was the above solution, however now if someone clicks on our Header logo or text or clicks home in the breadcrumbs it goes back to this flash page. We'd like it to go to http://anybodycan.org/events instead. How can this be accomplished? I am a first time drupal user and am new to CMS's in general so pardon me if its relatively simple to do.

Current settings in Home › Administer › Site configuration > Site information
