i'm really disappointed it seems nobody help you in this forum...i posted a question on search-files module 1 week ago and nobody replied to me..it's very sad.
please someone can help me??
search files module doesn't work i don't kno why it doesn't give me any error message ..maybe i wrong something

Sometimes you need to wait a couple of days. Many times your post will end up on page 2/3 after 24 hours, so you may need to 'bump' it back to the first page (by editing or replying). This also changes the status to 'new' or 'updated' again, to grab peoples' attention.

However, both last time and this time, you've posted to the 'wrong' forums. I would have put the original problem in the 'post installation' forum, or even better, raised a support issue on the module's project page:
http://drupal.org/project/issues/search_files?categories=support&states=all
Note that posts made to the project page will also be seen in the 'recent posts' listing.

Also, instead of starting this new post in a different forum, I would have replied to the original saying 'I still have this problem. Any ideas?'. This would have bumped it back to the first page again.

Notice that on the module's project page, last week the developer declared that they are going to merge this module with another. So you might want to hold off using it anyway, until the merge has been completed.
