I want to transfer my present site to Drupal, but one of the important things to maintain is the database. How can I move a database from Exel to Drupal?

I have been reviewing different modules, but "Import / Export API" , "Import-export" and "Node import" that maybe could be perfect for this task are only developed for 5.x.

Anyone can help me?
