Hi all,
I've just installed the drupal 6.6 on vista IIS and it's working. But there is a weird problem. For example I added a blog module and wanted to write an entry but I couldn't do that. it does not work also I looked on permissions and wanted to change it, it threw me to the main page after changed then I returned and looked there again, everthing was the same as old. it seems that I've got writing access problem but when I was installing the site I could create an admin account!
Could anyone help me how do I solve it.
Thank you
Bora

Do you mean you enabled the blog module? Or did you add something other than the core blog module? With Drupal you generally enable the blog module, grant one or more roles permission to use it and then create blog entries either from the create content menu or from your own blog page.

Hello mate
Yes I enabled the blog modul and wanted to try a blog entry. I posted it then it threw me to the main page. I looked the blog area but there was nothing.Later I tried to change permissions, roles, it might have been about permissions, and I saved and checked. I returned to administer -> user management and looked the whole properties, everthing was the same as if I didn't do anything.
Eventually I'm just always redirected to the main page after trying to change or insert something but it's not working.
Thanks for helping

What browser are you using?
What browser are you using? I ask because I have a client using IE 7 and saving the blog entries does not always work.

I tried IE,Firefox and opera and they are all latest versions. something is going wrong. I'm doubting the IIS that's why I tried to install apache but it's giving an error which is "Cannot load C:/php/php5apache2.dll into server: The specified module could not be found." when it starts as well. I'm really stuck and confused.
thank you
